Our center is run by two experienced and dedicated doctors, Dr. Meyer and MD Vermeulen, who have been practicing as internists and general practitioners in Viersen for many years as a joint practice.

The Hausarztzentrum Viersen offers a range of primary care services, including preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, management of chronic conditions, as well as referrals to specialists when necessary.

Hausarztzentrum Viersen: Personalized care with expertise

As GPs, we see ourselves as your guide through the increasingly complex healthcare system in Germany. We are available to you digitally via our website (e.g. via video consultation or online prescription ordering), as well as on site in the practice. We are your first point of contact for all matters, especially for chronic illnesses. We coordinate your treatment with specialists and hospitals. This gives us a comprehensive overview of your medical history and we decide together with you, for example, on the initiation of rehabilitation or preventive measures. As your central, regular point of contact for health issues, our aim is to provide you with ongoing advice and take preventative measures. In this way, we can alleviate or even completely prevent ailment.

What is a general practitioner (GP) or family doctor?

Yes, as a new patient you are welcome to make an appointment by telephone or via Doctolib. During your first appointment, we will take plenty of time to assess your medical history and current condition. Please take a printout of your findings from other doctors with you or upload them to Doctolib before your visit. 

Am I welcome as a new patient?

 and under certain conditions. An initial sick note for up to 5 calendar days can be issued after a medical history has been taken by telephone. Please note that there must be no serious symptoms. However, you must always come to the practice for an extension of the sick note. Please note that your doctor can also refuse a sick note or ask you to come to the practice if necessary.

Dr. med. Margita Meyer

Dr. med. Margita Meyer is a specialist in internal medicine and general medicine. For decades, she has been caring for people of all ages as a general practitioner in Süchteln and the surrounding area.

MD Marian Vermeulen

As a specialist in general medicine, Dr. MD Marian Vermeulen has been part of the medical team since mid-2023. She previously worked as a general practitioner in Düsseldorf for several years. Additionally, she specializes in travel medicine and has practiced medicine in the Philippines for several years.

Wolfgang Bertram

Dr. med. Jürgen Dreher 

Dr. med. Jürgen Dreher founded the practice in 1983. He is a specialist in internal and general medicine and worked as a public insurance doctor until mid-2023. Since July 2023, he still regularly sees private patients on Wednesdays, with prior appointment arrangements.

The practice is accessible by wheelchair, the toilettes unfortunately are not.

Sevic Kurt is a medical assistant and is primarily responsible for long-term ECG and long-term blood pressure monitoring. Mrs. Kurt is available to assist you with any questions regarding your laboratory results and procedures.
